FIRST AID FOR RALLY/OFF-ROAD RACE CREWS AND OFFICIALS
Rally and Off-Road race crews are sometimes faced with fellow competitors who are in need of first aid following an incident. Would you be prepared? Do you feel that you may benefit from some special first aid training that is specifically related to rallying and off-road racing?
Your answer may be FAST 4U’s ‘FIRST AID FOR RALLY/OFF ROAD RACE CREWS and OFFICIALS’ Course!
After discussions with rally and safety experts in Australia and overseas, FAST 4U have developed a first aid training workshop course that is designed to develop Rally and Off-Road Race competitors’ and officials’ first aid skills.
As keen rally participants ourselves, here at FAST 4U we believe it is important for all motorsport competitors and officials to learn and know first aid.
Rallying and Off-Road racing often takes competitors and officials long distances from medical facilities. Even with FIV vehicles it may take some time to get full medical assistance to an injured crew. However, with appropriate first aid training, if an accident does occur, the crews in following vehicles can be quickly on the scene and they can provide first aid to their injured fellow-competitors.
While these workshops include elements from an industry-standard, HLTAID003 course, our ‘FIRST AID FOR RALLY/OFF ROAD RACE CREWS and OFFICIALS’ courses involve non-certified training and therefore no assessment is required.
Participants will receive a ‘Document of Attendance’ on completion.
If you are interested in arranging one of these important workshops for members of your Car Club, please call us on 0409 251 523 for further information.
